Ho Ho Ho! Its the holiday season.

While I am a firm believer in the motto that it is better to give than to receive, I know that many of us find ourselves in the same situation each December. You know or have a pretty good idea what to get for your nearest and dearest. Yet, as soon as the tables are turned and someone asks you what YOU would like, you have the deer in headlights look. You shrug and say "I don't know." Or maybe you just feel bad saying what you'd like. Thing is though, you are not doing any favors for those who want to get you a gift if they are asking for your suggestions.

Now is the time to think about it.  I've put together a few ideas for you to help get the ball rolling. These are all things that I personally have and love.  You have my vote that these things are all worthy.

1) A Splurge Lipstick

A bougee lipstick just makes you feel good. I might be rocking my Target jeans, sweater and boots. However, when I pull out my Tom Ford lipstick , I feel all over luxury. Its one of those little things that helps you feel elevated.

2) High-End Sneakers

The 2020 pandemic ushered in an era of comfort. Days of wearing heels are often now replaced by elevated streetwear. I have 4 pairs of Golden Goose sneakers. I cannot tell you how much I love them. They are so comfortable, stylish and overall awesome. If I get Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus gift cards for Christmas, you better believe that I'll be going in for pair number 5!

3) Nespresso Vertuo Machine

I'm going on the record right now to say that the other automatic coffee brewing systems CANNOT compete with this baby. One of the other companies sent me their top of the line system for me to review. It was perfectly nice ( I brought it into my office for my co-workers to use.) But this is OUTSTANDING. With one touch you can have perfectly brewed traditionally American coffee or Italian espresso. This machine is my right hand. I got it for Christmas of 2017 and have been LOVING it everyday since.

4) Designer Shades

The perfect mix of practically and splurge. You NEED sunglasses. These fancy designer ones are perfect for combing a need with a want. This classic shape is something that will never go out of style.

5) A Cozy Robe

As much as it pains me to say this, we have long and likely cold winter in-front of us. (If you live where it is warm, can I come visit?)
Having this robe is so SO ideal for those chilly mornings and evenings.

6) High End Jeans

I'll be the first to tell you, 75% of my jeans are "affordable". Often, they are under $50. You can get really good jeans in that price point.
Still, everyone should have a pair of "splurge jeans" that make her feel absolutely fabulous. These are mine. They should be yours too.

Most of what we talked about here today is on the higher end. Next week, I'm going to try to jump on here to do this same post but with more "affordable" items.

Until then, be well mes amies.

XO,
