Feeling Reflective

Hello, and happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? I did, it was glorious here. Yesterday was almost 90 degrees... #mytypeofweather.

I couldn't help but think though of how different things were a year ago. I couldn't stop those scary, unsettling feelings from resurfacing.

I don't know about you, but I have such an appreciation for all of "the little things" that were once taken for granted. From being able to go to dinner with my husband to being able to hug my friends. These are things that at on time I thought would never be inaccessible. Yet, I found these and other things "off limits" for over a year.

Later this week, in MA all of our Covid restrictions are over and done with here in Massachusetts. I'm so thankful that this summer is going to0 be 180 degrees different than last summer.
Sadly, somethings and more importantly some people have been permanently taken away from us. The restaurant where my hubby & I had our 1st date fell victim to the pandemic. It makes me so sad to know we'll never be able to be back there.
Now though, I'm focusing on all that is BACK. I'm focused on enjoying all of the things that I never realized I miss so badly. I'm thanking the heavens above for all of my loved ones who are healthy.

That's all that I've got for you today. Just remember to be kind to each other as we get back to our normal lives 💜
