Happy Friday!

Tomorrow morning is hair day for me, yay!!!!

A week from today is the last day of April. That means that even here in the chilly northeast, short season is almost upon us.

All throughout when I was growing up, my mom truly believed that she "couldn't" wear shorts. Where she came to this conclusion, I'm unsure. She's always been fit. Now, she rocks shorts. As can you. I'm going to put it out here and now , your legs are NOT too thick, pale, veiny, (insert any other disparaging thought here) to wear shorts. Let's just get that out of the way right now.

That's not to say that you should wear shorts that you feel uncomfortable in. I'm looking at you "booty shorts". Nope, none of that. Thankfully, shorts come in various different lengths and fits. There really is something for everyone.

These pull-on shorts check all of the boxes for spring/summer 2021. Floral and feminine, but still super comfortable. As we immerge into a post-pandemic world, folks are prioritizing comfort. These shorts are light weight and breathable.

The elasticized paper bag waist makes these super comfy. The high rise fit makes them both flattering and on point.

Denim shorts have become a "thing" again. My 90's girl heart sings with joy. However, most denim cut offs are SUPER short. As in the pocket liners are longer than the shorts themselves. If you are old enough to see an R rated movie, you likely find that a bit too short.  These longer denim cut-off have all the sass of their shorter counterparts.

I love the vintage look of these shorts. They have that late 60's energy to them. Also, they are linen. That's about the most comfortable, breathable material out there.

I said it the other day and I meant it...There is no such thing as "too much leopard".
Of course I have already ordered these for myself.

Athleasure wear is here to stay. Facts. These 1970's inspired shorts make me think of Farrah Fawcett on the tennis court.

Have you broken out your shorts yet this season?

XO,
