Happy Monday. How was your weekend?
I was perusing trough a couple of my favorite shopping apps this weekend. It seems as if now more than ever, you can "get the look for less". Meaning you could put together nearly identical outfits. One from a higher-end store and one that is complied from less expensive retailers. And no, I'm not referring to any "throw away fashion" from places like Forever 21 or Primemark.
Nordstrom is what I refer to as "The Mother Land." About 80% of my clothing is from there. From the brands that they carry, to their amazing customer service to their coffee bar, there isn't a single thing that I don't love about Nordstrom.
For example, here is an outfit I recently bought.
Say you like this look, but are not comfortable spending that much.
Well, mes amie..... nothing to worry about.
Here, we have something very similar.
A New Day Booties $35.00
Such similar looks. Yet, one is $85.00 total, and the other is several hundred. Its kind of crazy the difference.
Do you think that the top outfit looks as if its that much more expensive? I'd really love to know what you guys think!!
