Another Episode Of "What I Used"

 

Three cheers for Friday, Mes Amies!!!

So, did you notice the new font? I love it! 

Anyhow, a week ago today I tried a new hair gel and was blown away by the results. ( You can read about that HERE )

Anyhow, I snapped a selfie at my desk to show how great this hair product is. Just like last time, I had a bunch of folks compliment and or ask about my makeup. In my facebook comments, I promised that I'd list out what products were used. So, lets make a start!

First, here is the photo for reference:

Okay, now that my mug is way too in your face...

Lets start with they eyes. I'm happy to say that most of my eye makeup is from the drug store!

In a Recent Post (READ IT HERE) I mentioned how the Miliani Guilded Nude Palette (At Target) looks and preforms as if it were something FAR more expensive. 

I used the top left shade from lash to brow. I used the 2nd one from the left on the middle row from lash to crease, then used the color on the bottom right in the outer corner.

NYX "That's The Point"       Is the liner that I used. Its so thin and precise. It comes in at only $10.00

For my lashes, we are still in the drug store. On a whim, I tried Covergirl Exhibitionist Mascara

                              

Its a decent mascara. Did it blow m e away? Well, no. It is just fine for daily wear though.

For the brows, we left the drug store and drove over to Nordstrom. My new FAVORITE brown treatment is by Hourglass. I know that ABH gets all of the love. However, this product is better, IMO    Hourglass Brow Pencil    

For my face, I started with Stellar Beauty's "Brilliant" primer. I LOVE this stuff. It makes your skin look so bright and awake. Any dullness immediately goes into hiding upon application.

Brilliant Primer 

I used one of my all time favorite foundations. Its for sure not drug store, but it is SO good.

 Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk   This foundation is so easy to blend. It just disappears into your skin. It leaves you looking so radiant.  

You might remember, a week or two ago, I was singing the praises of liquid blush  READ THAT HERE    Well, its pretty much all I have been using for blush for the last month or two. This day was no exception. Here, I have on NARS Liquid Blush  in the shade "Orgasm".

The lipsticks is Wink Of Pink by MAC. Sadly, this was a limited edition color.

Luckily, there are two pretty close dupes that I know of.  The 1st is by NYX and the shade is called "Power". Its only $6.00!!!

The other is by Marc Jacobs Beauty. The shade is called "Night Mauves".
