Three cheers for Friday! A SUMMER FRIDAY, no less.
So, I've picked up a new hobby. Well, new to me, I should say. Its a thing that many other started doing about 8 years ago....creating fashion flat-lays. #latetotheparty .
You might be asking "Um, so what made you start doing this, now?'
Well, this was born out of our covid quarantine. Like all of us, I wasn't going anywhere. I was stuck at home with nowhere to go. As I was getting new pieces of clothing, here and there, I was envisioning how I'd style them.
Like many other folks, I wasn't feeling too cute. I was used to being in elastic waist pants with pajama tops. I started putting things on my garment rack, and then by laying them out on my bed.
I'm not claiming that I'm good at this. I'm just saying that it sure is fun! Plus, I'm finding that it serves a great way for me to "keep stock" of what I own.
So, if we follow each other on Insta (@sheshe830), and you are wondering why I've been on a flay-lay posting spree recently, this is why.
I suggest that you give it a try too! You just might be surprised at how quickly the creative juices start flowing. Also, you very well might realize that you already own a lot more than you realized. This could save you some unnecessary spending!
