Hello, Mes Amies. How are you? No really, how are you doing?
These are trying , stressful times. This is like nothing that I have experienced in my 40 years.
Regardless, all is not lost. There are still ways to find and share happiness through all of this.

Here are a few thought of mine, please share yours as well. For me, knowing that we are all in this together makes things feel a little better.

1) Help Someone Else Through This

Do you have an elderly neighbor? Call them, see if they have coffee, see if they need a ride. Does your friend have small children at home? Print up some coloring pages and mail them to her child. Just like always, doing something for someone else is also one of te best things that you can do for yourself.

2) Enjoy Nature

You might not be the "Outdoors Type". I know that I am not. I like to watch the sunrise, but aside from that , I'm one to enjoy the creature comforts of home.
However, going outside for a nice, long walk, feeling the fresh air and sunshine are some of the best spirit boosters known to man.

3) Log Off Of Social Media

I have no idea why, but people LOVE to share phony and alarming news. I don't know if they are doing this because they actually believe what they are sharing, or if they are doing it for the attention. Regardless, don't concern yourself with that nonsense.  Once or twice per day, log into THE CDC  and get your news straight from the source.

4) Keep Perspective

Is this scary? Yes. Has it really changed everything, again yes.
Still though, its nothing compared to what others have gone through. Our grandparents, stormed the beaches of Normandy, liberated concentration camps and destroyed the imperial navy in the Pacific. We are being asked to stay home and go on a Netflix binge.

5) Take Care Of Yourself

I cannot go to my gym, its driving me nuts. Still, I'm not going to throw away the baby with the bathwater . Eating lean proteins & leafy greens, getting plenty of rest and some exercise make you feel good regardless. In a situation like this, its also reassuring. It is as if your are saying to your body "I love you and are going to give you every weapon to fight this curd."

This is what I'm doing.
I'm going to continue to do my best to keep this little place happy and bright. I'm going to keep trying to keep this as a place where we share fashion and beauty.
As I have said though, if you need a friend or support, reach out to me.

Stay well, Mes Amies

XO,
SheShe
