I'm SO happy today you guys. My hubby is home!! On Thursday, he flew down to Florida to drive his mom back home from her condo in West Palm Beach. She spends the winters down there.
I tell ya, you ladies who have husbands that travel for work, or are in the military.. I don't know how you do it. Chad was gone for three days and it was so hard. I missed him so badly.
Anyhow, hes home now, and all is well.
Today, I wanted to share with you some of the beauty gizmos and gadgets that I personally have bought and know work incredibly well.
Just like in the kitchen, many of the gadgets that they try to sell you are completely unnecessary. But, there are a handful that are worth their wight in gold.
The fact that we are approaching sandal season with fast speed (yay!) makes me want to start with this Careme Electric Foot File
Back in the day if you got a pedicure, they would remove any calluses that you had with a mini razor.
It made your feet baby smooth. However, that practice is now illegal (at least here in Massachusetts). Pumice stones are decent, but they don't get you that baby soft feeling.
However, this tool does. It gets your feet so soft and smooth. I was truly shocked at how well it works.
I also love that it has a plug in charger, so not going through batteries!
Its only $21.00, a total win.

Dermasuction Pore Cleaner
Picture it, Sicily 1912 (Love me a "Golden Girls" reference) Summer before last, Chad & I were spending the night in a hotel at the airport. We had an early flight, so it just made more sense to stay there. Where I wasn't at home, I had a hard time falling asleep. On comes a commercial for this. I was intrigued. Before I knew it, I was on the company's web site ordering it.
When we got home from vacation I used it or the first time. Initially, I thought "gimmac!". Then, I looked in the nozzle and saw everything that it had sucked out of my skin. Oh my. Yep, it WORKS. Pro tip, keep this moving. Don't hold it in one spot for too long. Reviewers who did that, complained that they got hickies from it!
Staying on our faces here, you NEED a Jade Roller
It is said that using a jade roller on your face after you apply your lotions and serums will cause them to be better absorbed into your skin and therefore they will preform better.
Is this true? Maybe, maybe not, I really don't know. What I will tell you though, is rolling a cold (keep it in your fridge) jade roller all over your face feels AMAZING. Its so tranquil and soothing. Bonus is that if you have puffy eyes during allergy season, this makes that swelling go away right before your very eyes.
Lastly, not a beauty tool, but just as important. This super-duper Jewelry Cleaner
In the time before i had become engaged (then married) I had maybe cleaned my jewelry once.
If you are married though, you know that all changes once there is a beautiful , sparkly diamond on the 3rd finger of your left hand.
For awhile, I was running into the jewelers to get my ring cleaned. Then, I found this gem on Amazon .
It cleans my rings and all other jewelry as well as they do at the jewelry store . It only takes a few minutes to do.
