Cheers to Friday, mes amies!
Thanksgiving is just over 2 weeks away. Are you ready?

Thanksgiving has always been a big to-do in our family. It's my Uncle Charlie's Favorite Holiday. It always entailed going to the Hull High (he was captain of their 1st football team) game, then having a huge feast put on by my Aunt Gini.
Now that they are happily enjoying their retirement in Europe, the baton has been passed on to me.
I can no way near replicate what she'd do, but I give it my all.
Plus, we live in Plymouth, MA. Our house is 1/8th of a mile from the Plymouth Rock, that's got to count for something, right?

Regardless of if I was 17, 27 or now 40, I've always enjoyed putting together fun outfits for Thanksgiving. I think its because to me, it's the kick off of the holiday season. Aside from summer, Thanksgiving through New Years is the best time of year. Friends and family are all around, there are parties, lights and just a sense of happiness all.

Anyhow, now is the time to plan your Thanksgiving attire!

Plan on Cute yet Comfy

With all of the eating and drinking on Thanksgiving you probably are not going to want to wear your tightest skinny jeans. Now, is when you want roomy & stretchy.

Boots
Sweater
Leggings

Don't be afraid to go with "festive" colors

I get it, its so easy to want to wear black. Black is slimming, black won't show the fact that you just spilled gravy on yourself.
Remember though, there is a long, dark winter looming ahead of us.  Now is the time to go for vivid autumn shades or festive Christmas colors.

Bring on the Bling

It's okay to be "extra" this time of year. Well, It's ALWAYS okay to be extra. Its just extra good to be extra during the holidays. You deserve to sparkle and shine , baby doll!

Ring
Top
Pants

Don't forget about warmth

For 80% of the country, late November is a chilly if not down right cold time of year.
There is a pretty good chance you'll be corralled outside for photos. Or. like we do at our house, the turning on of the Christmas lights (my husband LOVES "Christmas Vacation). We literally are all lined up on the sidewalk across the street Ohhh and Awwing for a good 5-10 minutes after dinner but before dessert!

So tell me, do you plan out what you'll be wearing on TG?

XO,
SheShe
