Hello there. How is this week treating you? Has  it started to feel like spring where you are?

Nowadays, we get bombarded with "Buy this" "This tool right here is a game changer!"
I don't know about you, but I've been hoodwinked into buying something useless more than once in the name of beauty.
Today, I thought I'd share with you a few of the things I've acquired over the years that are actually worth it.

First up,  DryBar's After Party Shower Cap $16.00
This cap is like no other shower cap EVER. It locks out every last bit of water and humidity.
If you have hair that you don't wash every day, you NEED this. This is worlds away from those cheap, clear plastic shower caps.

Next up, a Jade Roller
I'm not putting a link in here, because the place I've found to get them the least expensive is at TJ Maxx or Marshalls.
Leave it in your fridge. Then when you put your creams and serums roll this all over your face in upward strokes.
Aside from feeling wonderful, it helps your products absorb into your skin.

I've talked before about cleaning your makeup brushes ( read that Here)
This little gizmo helps you to get ALL of the makeup out of your brushes. It has a handle that keeps it attached to your wrist to free up both hands.

You might be thinking "No way do I need a $20 makeup sponge!"
I thought the same thing. I went through and endless amount of less expensive expensive spongers, never quite understanding they hype. Once I tried the real deal though, it clicked. See my post about cleaning brushes for a surefire way to clean your beauty blender. With regular cleaning, it will last you for months.

An eye lash curler is a necessity. I remember being so afraid of these when I was a little kid! Happily for me, I got over that fear in my teen years. This one is so well made and worth buying. It gives you the perfect curl.

Jumping back to hair, I love my Infinity Pro by Conair  $50.00

This is a hair brush that spins in both directions. Its like using a blow dryer and round brush in one step. I have VERY thick hair and a lot of it. Many tools like this won't work on my hair, but this one does. The secret is to not use it to replace your hair dryer, but to use it to replace your flat iron or curling iron. It's SO much less damaging than a scorching hot ceramic or metal.

Finally, there is the Clarisonic Mia Smart Profile $250
Where do I begin? This will get your skin cleaner than its ever been. It will blend your foundation into airbrushed perfection. It will clean your pores. It will prevent black heads. It will massage your face and neck.
This is the one I have. You can buy a less expensive one to start and add in the different heads piece by piece.  I've been using a Clarisonic brush since 2007, so I knew that I was all in with this.

So, these are the things that come to mind for me that are absolutely worth it.
What did I miss? What do you know that I don't? Please share!
